Summit has three advisory clients.

One is a public entity that supervises 440,000 acres of public timberland in trust. Summit has been engaged by a high-level elected official, the Trustee. Summit advises the Trustee on private industry management techniques and other ways to enhance value for schoolchildren and taxpayers.

The other two advisory clients are electric utilities. Summit is developing procurement strategies for biomass energy production in three states.
